download information for existing testers while V1 is in development.
This development version focuses on run stability, clearer progress, health checks,
and diagnostic exports. It adds fixes for employer-research cleanup, Discord delivery, and macOS
installation. Native validation of the candidate on a Mac remains pending.

v0.3.4 — Settings, CV parsing & update notices
This update makes your settings take effect the moment you save them (no more restarting
the app), reads more CVs correctly, and makes the "update available" notice impossible to miss.

Some PDFs — often exported from LaTeX — pack words together with no spaces between them, which
was dropping most of your employment dates. FOX3 now recovers the spacing, so your roles and dates
come through. Side-column PDF layouts can still list dates out of order, so a .docx,
.txt or .md CV stays the most reliable (known

A Word CV built on certain templates (merged table cells) could stop being read partway through.

A new version is now announced with a prominent banner at the top of the control panel, and

If a Discord digest fails to send, FOX3 now notices and falls back to a desktop notification,

FOX3 now reads the whole document — previously, text inside tables could be dropped silently,

If your PDF is a scan or image with no selectable text, FOX3 now tells you up front — and
spends nothing — instead of quietly building an empty profile. |

The digest-tuning step and other on-screen hints used a bare python command that
stock macOS doesn't have (so they failed with "command not found"). Every command is now
the branded fox3 … form; digest tuning is fox3 feedback. |

Reading your CV no longer fails if the AI reply is cut short (it retries), and pointing the
file picker at a folder now gives a clear message instead of a confusing error. |
